  1. Excellent Case

Posted by Scott Harwell on 27th Dec 2015

This is my first CaseLabs case and I have been very impressed with both the quality of the product and the CaseLabs customer service. One of the parts arrived broken during delivery; KC ordered a replacement shipped that day. The case itself is incredibly roomy with plenty of space for even the largest water cooling builds. I am very impressed with the rigidity of the frame. Even a full speed, my DDC pump doesn't vibrate the chassis at all. You absolutely get what you pay for with a CaseLabs case!

  2. My first Case Labs case

Posted by Unknown on 16th Nov 2015

This has been 100% positive. I have been looking for a case upgrade for a while and this case has done it for me. The S8 is very spacy yet doesn't take up too much room vertically even with the pedestal. I love the ability to customize the slots in every caselab cases. This is now my goto place my cases.

The only thought I have is the ability to customize a bit more color.

  3. This may be the last case I ever own!!!

Posted by David C on 7th Nov 2015

The Mercury S8 is a perfect blend of style and functionality. All of their cases have almost 100% customization options, there is little you cannot change on this case. This case is perfect for air or water cooled builds. The horizontal mother board layout is awesome to work with as you never have to worry about GPU sag ever again. Load up your mother board with 4 graphics cards and never look back. The ability to work upwards rather than outwards when it comes to cables and tubing is also an awesome feature of this case. I have had nothing but fans in a total air cooled build and I have also had 4 radiators with 5 feet worth of soft tubing, so the ability to change your build needs is also a great feature.
Having said all of this the price of these cases can sky rocket depending on what types options you have so be prepared to spend some money but in the end you will be happy you did. This is one of those cases that you buy and you should never need to buy another one. I have changed all outer panels since my initial order and it changes the look of the case. Its like you bought a new case!! If you are ever contemplating a Caselabs purchase do yourself a favor and buy one. Just make sure you take your time and lay out all the options because to go back and make changes later can add up very quickly.
Keep up the great work Caselabs...well done and you have a customer for life.

  4. Best Case EVER!

Posted by WeirdHarold on 7th Nov 2015

So I'll start this by asking a question, have any of you bought a case thinking this is going to be great. Then it turns out not as great as you thought, it was hard to build in or was missing that little touch that would've make it great?? Well I've been down that road countless times, so I finally decided to pull the trigger and buy CaseLabs and I don't regret it at all. The S8 was the easiest case to build a system in ever, not to mention the possibilities on how you can configure it are practically endless. So if you're looking to buy a case and you've, like me looked at a CaseLabs case and said it's too expensive, stop looking at the price and instead look back at the last several cases and add up what you spent on them. On a side note I've never been huge on case mods because if you mess up it's not easy to fix what you messed up, not so with CaseLabs! Mod away, if you totally were to mess up a part you can easily order a replacement and it just bolts in.

  5. Great Case, worth the money

Posted by Felix on 11th Oct 2015

The case is great. Though it is expensive, if you consider the amount of money you will spend each year going for a new case, this is worth the spending. The building quality is top notch. I don't know if I will ever buy another case from a different manufacturer after my experience with Caselabs. I look forward to using this case for a very long time.

  6. Great case

Posted by Anton Cromas on 25th Sep 2015

Its a great case, came very well packaged with pretty decent manual on how to put it to gather, took me about 15-20 mins to assemble it.

I do have a few annoyances about the case though. At this price point I was expecting a side windows that made of REAL glass but sadly they were plastic (plexiglass).

Another annoyance is that to use 1000+ wat PSU you will need an optional bracket. . . It would have been nice if they made this fact known prior to purchase of the case or even better, include it with it. I doubt anyone will put 500wat PSU iin the case this big. . .

  7. Almost perfect

Posted by Kyle on 28th Aug 2015

Let me start off by saying that this case is exactly what it is advertised to be. Great craftsmanship. I am doing a big water-cooling build and there is barely enough room for my plans. I am doing 2 loops each having its own 3x120 radiator. I had to switch radiators, the first ones I got would not work in this case (Coolgate X-Flow G2) the depth of the radiators covers the first 2 5.25 bays, and the fittings go off the side of the endcaps and don't fit. None of this is caselabs fault. I changed to the black ice nemesis ones and they fit well. Width of this case is great, however I would have liked this case to be a bit taller and add to the depth also. Mounting 2 pumps just forward of where the power supply is is very tight. Mounting pumps there ties up the lower 3 5.25 bays. When you order this it does not come with caster wheels, or give you the option when you order. If you are considering this case do your self a favor and get the drop in top mount if water-cooling.

Again None of these issues are the fault of caselabs. I should have done better research. The only thing I can fault them on is the 7 week delivery time.

    Specs for my build

    2x Aquacomputer D5 Pump (pwm)

  8. Absolutely worth the wait

Posted by ian farrelly on 24th Aug 2015

From the moment of order, Caselabs were amazing. Even ordering more accessories after my S8 order, they were happy to combine shipments. The case itself. Wow, the touch, look, quality just blew me away, even the detail in packaging was excellent. The case itself, just in love with it, so versatile, as to how you want to build it. Just can't find fault, if your putting a side 360 radiator in, it's a very tight squeeze from the power and reset buttons but that location was my choice and there's lots of options. It's hard to see me ever buying a non Caselabs case ever again.

  9. Worth the cost and wait

Posted by Andrew on 21st Aug 2015

This is the case I have always dreamed of. I have always looked at larger cube like cases but never found the 'one' until this. Fit all my hardware inside with room and air volume to spare. Now I have real room to expand. :)

This case fits perfectly in my sim pit setup. Added on the Caster Kit for easy spin and connect new stuff and to just get it out the way quickly.

The waiting is always the hard part. Just at 8 weeks for my build. It was worth every day and cost to get such an awesomely built and designed case. I couldn't have asked for better service and communication on delay's. They truly care about building the best cases. I would buy again and again even with the wait.

  10. Best case I ever have had

Posted by Charles Estes Sr. on 12th Aug 2015

Great case easy to build and build in .
Fit and finish are exellent. packaging was heav duty no damage at all.
the only bad thing was wait time but I guess you have to wait for perfection!
