I wanted the best, and I believe I got the best. I strongly believe this computer case will outlast any of the components I put inside; this thing is a beast. I'd say that I'll never need another computer case again, but the quality of the materials, availability of spare parts through online retailers, and excellent customer service prompted me to place another order with Caselabs. Thanks Caselabs for doing what you do so well. Cheers!
Great Purchase - Worth It.

Was well packaged, no visible issues with paint work or quality of parts. Instructions were clear and concise. so far, case is able to accommodate all of my parts, and i am nearly finished upgrading.
was unsure about PSU mounting, as when installed, seems to float. for a bit of security, i put the extra case grommets underneath for some added support. the back plate and panel assembly is very sturdy, though, so there should not be any worry for others.
i also ordered the SSD stealth plate, and it is very nicely fit. custom length cables might be a good option - i am finding it a bit cramped in some areas when routing stock PSU cables.
this is my first purchase, and i am very satisfied with it. i thank Caselabs for the great USA made product.
Excellent Case and Customer Service

Excellent, solid case, well-packaged. My case arrived in Japan with no dents, bends, or scratches. Went together smoothly.
Plenty of spare parts. The issue of dust filters is addressed on the CaseLabs site. It would be helpful if an easily removable dust filter for the PSU intake on the bottom of the case were built into the design. Otherwise, can't think of anything significant I'd change.
Quick to put together

I received my S5 today after 5 weeks waiting.
Straight from work got my self a screw driver and did not take me more than 20 Min to make the case. Had to change the top panel as I fitted it wrong but that did not take long to swap around. My fault did not watch what I was doing.
Can not wait to finish my build as I can not decide if I want another X99 motherboard or a Z170 motherboard.
Good customer service received email saying if I wanted the old style USB port or the new version. Received the old version layout of the USB.
I am holding of until next year to get a M8A or a TH10 case
Can't wait to finish my build in the S5
High cost so expectations high too: expectations met.

It has taken me a while to complete me system build, and I've been holding off a review until then.
Very long led time from ordering to delivery, but I was warned about this and customer service did a good job communicating progress of the order.
Packaging was good: no damage from USA to UK.
Build quality is excellent. Probably on par / close to the high standards set by companies like Apple. Way higher than any other case manufacturer I've seen for PC systems. Exacting machining tolerances, tight design, excellent quality powder coating. Really excellent.
Instructions very simple / easy.
Very flexible pre-ordering flexibility and post ordering your case offers you plenty of installation options.
I've installed a 5820K CPU, 2x GTX 980Ti and there is enough radiator space for my system to be whisper quiet: Fans running at only 900 rpm doing CPU / GPU intensive applications.
Downsides / constructive suggestions?
Powered coat dolly wheels as they are just plain silver metal and don't blend with the case (wheels are an option, but one that makes the build easier and helps you move a heavy / full case around).
Lack of integrated dust filters.
Front I/O cables look quite messy: a cable routing hole to help hide these?
Would prefer to have a solid floor: not one with the 140mm fan hole in front of the PSU installation.
Would be nice for front I/O to include headphone and microphone jacks.
Marmite looks: you either love it, or hate it. No middle ground. Me: I loved it: functional and clean. Non gimmicky.
While this is one of the most expensive cases on the market, it is worth the investment. It will last you many PC hardware upgrades if you look after it. I highly recommend it provided you are happy with the functional / mature styling.

The most beautiful case i have ever seen and put my hands on. Despite the high wait times and the long list of people waiting to get these cases built, these cases are not rushed and you can definitely tell. Everything from the paint work to the metal work is perfect. The people at Caselabs really are skilled engineers and i had to become an owner to understand this and see what all the hype was about. Im really happy about my case and i can say that its well worth the wait and the money. Will be coming back to Caselabs for my future builds and staying up to date on new product drops.
Fantastic Case and Excellent Service.

Overall I am very happy with the case and with the service provided by Case Labs.
The case itself arrived in perfect condition 3 days after dispatch. I thought that this was excellent as the carriage was between California and Scotland.
Building of the case was simple and came with good clear instructions.
Overall quality and and design is outstanding and I can definitely see what all the hype is about.! This is my first Case Labs Case - it will not be my last - I am already eyeing up other one for my Gaming PC.
The Mercury S5 Case suited me perfectly and the amount of options and customization is fantastic and should really be enough to suit most people's needs.
Living so far away - did make me hesitant to begin with - but to anyone considering these case's - go right ahead.!
The website is easy to manage and view all of the options - the service has been flawless - delivery quick - and the product second to none.
Like I said - I will be back for more.!!
Great case for a micro-ATX motherboard but somewhat oversized for a mini-ITX motherboard

Overall, this is a great case for a gaming/home theater PC because it works well with air or liquid cooling. I really like the horizontal motherboard orientation because there are no shearing torque loads on the PCIe and/or PCI slots.
Lots of room inside the case for 60mm, or thicker, push-pull radiators IF you use a 120mm or 140mm radiator in the front Flex-Bay.
If I had a gripe, it would be that it's not practical to use a 360mm push-pull radiator up top with either a 240mm or a 280mm push-pull radiator in the front Flex-Bay. You just can't get thicker radiators in there; even with a 36mm extended top.
My other gripe is not with the case but with the FedEx Ground delivery service. My case arrived three days late due to FedEx driver and office foul ups AND the flat pack shipping container was crushed on all four corners when it arrived. Luckily for me, CaseLabs puts lots of shock absorbing material inside their shipping containers; otherwise, the contents in my package would have been dinged, dented, and/or bent.
I have two CaseLabs Merlin cases already, but I am switching to the Mercury product line just because, to me, the S-series cases are designed better.
FYI, putting your case together from an unassembled, flat-packed, shipping container is an absolute blast; especially for those of us who enjoy doing the job our way. The CaseLabs instructions are easy to follow and have sufficient photos to illustrate how things are supposed to go together.
Of course, those individuals who like to put things together and THEN read the instructions may find themselves frustrated by parts that don't fit and/or holes that don't line up. :)

This case meets more than my furthest expectations. From paint to construction to the counter sink screws that hold it together, it is more than you can hope for in a case. I needed something to contain a Folding@home build that would run 24/7. The hardware comes from all over the world and means more to me than my personal rig ever could. CaseLabs = quality/professionalism/style in a well contained PC case. Well suited for any rigors you can throw it through.

This case is one that you must assemble. When you recurve the cae, you unpack the items, as it amazed me how much they fit in each box sent. Each peice is in a thick plastic bag which protects things very nicely. The unit is easy to put together. The instruction were good. Once assembled, the case is about a foot wide and two feet high. The cases are nice. The front and top were used as the intakes with the radiators in the pedestal. There us enough room to do two radiators in push pull. There is about 3 inches between them. This us a smaller than my original build. The quality of the cases that you receive from Caselabs is always very good. The units are very customizable. The places where can have intake of radiators, are many. There is also a place for four SSDs and two HHDs. The build may be a small form factor, but if is far from small on what it can do. There is room for two GPUs and I used an LGA-2011 motherboard for Ivy Bridge-E CPU. This is the second Caselabs case I have purchased and used. They are great cases. I have been very pleased with the products they produce. If has been a pleasure interacting, as well as using, the cases and the staff.
